The first 53 pictures in this gallery were taken using Allan Moster's awesome (as he'd like to think) Canon Digital Rebel XT (350 D) SLR camera. For those who don't know him, Allan is the guy on the Maroon team pictured here with the number 23 on his shirt. He's usually one of his team's top scorers. Usually.

As you can see, these pictures freeze the action better because Allan's camera goes up to ISO 1600, allowing for a shorter shutter speed. His camera also sports an ultrasonic motor Canon lens that helps adjust focus faster. As he likes to say, his lens alone is almost the same price as my camera, the cult-favorite Panasonic FZ20, which includes a stunning Leica 36-432 mm (35mm equivalent) constant f/2.8 image-stabilized zoom lens. The rest of the pictures were taken with my camera when the Digital Rebel's battery gave out with 5 minutes to go in the game.
